It is a pleasure to offer this large and prestigious Amphora Turkey Vase or Jardinere in the style that is so distinctive of this manufacturer. This is classic Czechoslovakian Art Deco pottery. I just love this piece with its 4 large matt Turkeys and its enamel gloss keys. The inside is glazed in lustre glaze which has a crackle effect – this really is an interesting piece with its 3 distinctive styles of decoration. While I can’t date this to an exact year it has to be pre-World War II as Amphora was closed during WWII and it never reopened after the war. If I could be so bold as to hazard a guess I would say that it was produced in the late 1920’s. It has the standard blue stamped under glaze“Amphora, Made in Czecho-slavakia” makers' mark.  This massive piece measures 28 cm (11”) long and 22 cm (8.75”) wide and it is tall and it is 13 cm (5.2”) tall. 
It is in EXCELLENT condition, there are NO chips, cracks, stains or repairs and NO crazing. There is NO wear to the colour or to the crackle lustre effect. 
I have no doubt that this has only ever been an object of devotion that has spent the great proportion of its life in the stately confines of a display cabinet. This magical piece ART DECO pottery is about as collectable as they come.
