This is a list of the Carlton Ware lustre and handpainted patterns produced with a Carlton Ware script maker's makers between 1925 and 1965. This list does not include the Handcraft patterns which are listed on their own page. Neither does it include patterns that were first produced with a W&R (Wiltshaw & Robinson) mark and then later produced with a Carlton Ware mark. Nor does this list include any of Chinoiserie Patterns . The pattern numbers beside the pattern name is the first pattern number attributed against that pattern with the date of issue. The pattern number printed below the photos is the pattern number of the piece pictured.

Violet Elmer was a designer employed by Carlton Ware between 1928 and 1937. Most of the most sought after of the Carlton Ware Art Deco best ware has been attributed to this artist. Barry & Elaine Girling have spent considerable energy researching Violet Elmer, they have generously supplied me with a list of the patterns attributed to this great talent. These patterns will be marked;- "Pattern attributed to Violet Elmer".
