Carlton China Figurines

All the figurines are marked with the Carlton China mark and have the name of character and the pattern number written by hand. To date all the Figurines I have seen with a mark have the same artists monogram (the MD in the bottom left of the photo below) which indicates that they where all painted by the one person.

Please Note: There can be no doubt that this figurine is Jane, but the example I havedoes not have a pattern number. For all intents it is the same as the one above, however the figurine above has flowers hand painted on the dress. It is my belief that Jane below is pattern number 4267

Please Note: The Peggy below is a veriation on pattern on the one above, both are the smae figure in the same coloured clothing, but the Peggy below is not holding a hat in its hand and her head is at a slightly digfferent angle.
